Day 36

Shush to Silence

Notifications that respect a human gesture. When the stack gets loud — badges bouncing, cards jostling for attention — just go "shhh" at your screen. The longer you shush, the quieter it gets, until everything is calm, grey and asleep.

Loud, isn’t it? Hold Shush (or S) — or turn on Shush mode and shush your screen.

Shush mode listens for a sustained hiss — not speech, not breath. Audio is analysed on this device and never leaves it.

Hold the Shush button or the S key to shush. Calm rises the longer you hold and fades back over 30 seconds. Press Wake, or tap the stack, to bring the notifications back. Press D for the debug overlay.
